Tree Seedling Giveaway, Outdoor Market, Global Market and more at the 2nd Street Market

Carolyn Kimes Tree Seedling Give-Away

Kriste Fisher returns to the Market for the Carolyn Kimes Tree Seedling Give-Away on Saturday, April 20, 9 AM to 3 PM and Sunday, April 21, 11 AM to 3 PM. Kriste Fisher and her mother Carolyn Kimes started giving away tree seedlings over 25 years ago. Since her mother’s passing, Kriste has kept this annual, community-loved tradition alive at the 2nd Street Market. Come celebrate Earth Day by selecting from a variety of free tree seedlings for you to take home and plant. Deciduous and coniferous trees will be available while supplies last. This is an all age, free event.

Global Artisan Market

In partnership with Welcome Dayton, the 2nd Street Market will host a Spring Global Artisan Market on April 28, 11 AM to 3 PM. Special guest artisans and aspiring entrepreneurs new to the USA, and the Miami Valley will be here to share their cultures through Art. Textiles, jewelry, paintings, crafts, food tasting and music from around the globe will be featured throughout the day. This is an all age, free event.

Annual Outdoor Market Opening Weekend
