Creating Youth Leaders through Growing, Sharing, and Selling Food
Heads up! This article was last updated 8 years ago.
Teens and their families can learn about growing their own food by participating in our community gardening program, attending a gardening class, and visiting a garden park and Possum Creek MetroPark, where they can grow vegetables in the demonstration gardens. Dedicated City Beets volunteers are invited to stop by the farm at Possum Creek to talk with staff about the new gardens, help build beds and find out what other volunteer opportunities are available this summer.
