There’s still time to shop small for the holidays

Shopping small this holiday season is simple at the 2nd Street Market. The diversity of vendor offerings allows you to shop for everyone on your list all on one location – plus treat yourself to lunch and a little gift for yourself.

Here are just a few of the 2nd Street Market’s vendor suggestions for their favorite gift picks:

Marian’s Candles n’ Crafts:

Having been a vendor at the Market for over 16 years, the folks at Marian’s know a thing or two about gift giving.

  • Bamboo would be a great gift for the person that might want a little greenery added to the office atmosphere.
  • Keyholders are a great item either for a sports fan or just to organize a place to hang keys or like items.
  • Door mats are a great gift item for the person that might have everything, great to place at the front door, fireplace, or anywhere in the home, also a great gift for a new homeowner.
  • T-shirts are also a great item for the person that has everything. They have many designs that are all made of vinyl (not silk screen) and have sizes available from small to 5x – along with a selection of tall sizes available.
  • Garden flags can be a great gift for someone or for yourself to add a little color or just to express yourself.
  • Candles! Marian’s offers moisturizing candles, which are candles that you burn like a normal candle and can use anywhere on your body. Use a hot plate, or a candle warmer lamp (which we sell). These candles are great for eczema, psoriasis, mosquito bites, and any type of minor skin irritation.

The Flowerman

Gift some winter greenery, red winterberry stems, as well as poinsettias! Celebrate the festive season by adorning your surroundings with a stunning Poinsettia plant. Whether it’s placed on your holiday table, hearth, office desk, or given as a thoughtful hosting gift, these vibrant plants add a touch of winter charm to any setting. Freshly cut Christmas greens and Winterberry are unmatched when it comes to adding an extra touch of Christmas spirit to any arrangement.

Rosebuds Real Food

Don’t skip the seasoning! Rosebuds has gift givers come back year after year because friends and family love their seasoning mixes so much! They have gift sets available, including the set pictured which contains our most popular mix, Jane’s Italian, and three of our all-purpose seasoned salts. Their packets and jars of seasoning mixes are great for stocking stuffers, and great for cooking holiday meals. They have over 35 flavors, so between meat rubs, dip mixes, hot chocolates, seasoned salts and more, there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Sweet Emmy’s Herbals:

Herbs and flowers are sustainably grown and responsibility foraged or are from organic suppliers.

  • Create your own gift basket with finishing salts infused with ingredients such as Lemongrass, hibiscus and rose; seasoning; and soup mix to create your own basket.
  • Grab a premade giftset – the sleep set below features a Boleslawiec pottery heart shaped baker with sleep tea, honey, infuser and lavender pillows.

Hedy Riegel Studio Ltd.:

Heather Riegle, aka “Hedy” owns Hedy Riegle Studio Ltd. and is offering her best-selling item, the hand-stamped brass tag for a great gift idea this year.

This round 1-1/4″ solid brass tag is stamped on-site at the 2nd Street Market, so you can place an order and it will be ready before you finish shopping with all our local vendors. Customize the brass tag with names or nicknames, bible verses, inspirational words, and more – handmade just for you. Make the brass tag a key ring, necklace, or a tag for your favorite pets.  Great gifts for moms and dads, grandparents, teachers, babysitters, pet owners, new drivers, backpacks or even as an ornament.
