Preview of Summer Programs at RiverScape and Adopt-A-Park
Here’s to Another Ice Rink Season!
Whether you came to ice skate, participated in a sport league or just came to spectate with hot cocoa, we are grateful for every visitor who chose to spend time with us this season. While we had some wonky weather at times, we are beyond thankful for the community’s continuous support of the region’s largest outdoor ice rink. We would also like to give a shoutout to our awesome staff. Without our dedicated park technicians, rink staff and instructors, providing a memorable outdoor experience would not be possible.
Mark your calendars! The MetroParks Ice Rink will make its return this November.
Become a Sponsor
We would also like to give special thanks to MetroParks Ice Rink sponsor PNC Bank, media sponsors WKEF22/FOX45, MSD, Butler Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing and additional sponsors, USI Insurance Services, Ed Smith Flowers and Winans Chocolates + Coffees for their support this season.
Did you know that as a business owner you can help support community assets, including the MetroParks Ice Rink, and special events through sponsorships? As a MetroParks sponsor, your business will receive unique opportunities designed to effectively enhance your traditional advertising while making a positive impact in the community. Summer Sneak Peak
The transition from winter to summer has already begun here at RiverScape and we cannot wait to get the park ready for a fantastic summer season! From the return of the Five Rivers Fountain of Lights and the Fountain Snack Bar to live music and outdoor programs, be sure to watch our Facebook page and website for exciting announcements over the coming weeks, including our Summer Music Series, fitness class schedules, and new events and programs.
As temperatures begin to rise, you can enjoy a stroll around downtown then come relax at the swings along the Great Miami River. RiverScape MetroPark is DORA friendly (designated outdoor refreshment area), so you can even enjoy a DORA beverage in the park from one of your favorite local restaurants or breweries. Stay tuned as we make more announcements regarding our own drink menu for summer and fall. To learn more about the downtown Dayton DORA, please visit the Downtown Dayton Partnership website.
