New Market event offers special after-hours shopping, dining opportunities
The 2nd Street Market is extending its hours on certain Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 PM as part of Sunset at the Market: a bimonthly occasion with themed evenings with seasonal programming. Nearly all the Market’s indoor vendors will be on site during the following dates:
- April 11
- June 13
- August 8
- October 10
- December 12

Dinner and dessert: Can’t decide on Mexican, Thai or a sandwich for dinner? You can grab a little bit of everything from the prepared food vendors at the Market. Vegan options are also available for those who have allergies or eat plant-based diets.
Don’t forget about a cool ice pop, rolled ice cream or baked goods for dessert. You can also grab and go with your food to enjoy it at home.
Get a head start on weekend shopping: Free up some weekend time by stocking up on kitchen staples, produce and more on the way home from work or daily activities. The Market’s growers, specialty food and artisan vendors will be onsite for you to browse, shop and enjoy.
Enjoy the summer vibe: The 2nd Street Market is a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), which means you can stop by your favorite downtown destination for drinks and walk to the Market to enjoy dinner and live music. If the weather is nice, there is outdoor seating to enjoy.
