Five Rivers MetroParks and Wright State University are gearing up for the 2024 Adventure Summit presented by Wagner Subaru and would love to have you join us!
The Adventure Summit is an event celebrating the spirit of outdoor adventure by showcasing the vibrant lifestyle and culture of human powered endeavors through inspiration, education, and experience. With more than 4,000 attendees, the Adventure Summit has a rich history of featuring world class outdoor personalities, dozens of inspiring presentations, competitions, and expo.
Previous speakers have included endurance runners, long-distance backpackers, the founding father of mountain biking and polar explorers. Our featured personalities each year are sure to inspire and amaze. We hope you will join us and thousands of others for this weekend of outdoor skill, culture and experience.

Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience (OutdoorX) is an outdoor lover’s dream. Visitors can try numerous outdoor activities, compete, camp, watch pro stunt shows, demo gear, buy outdoor products, or just relax with a beverage and listen to live music.

OutdoorX supports the Five Rivers MetroParks mission by connecting people to nature. This event serves an integral role in helping grow the outdoor community by introducing people to, and building enthusiasm for active, healthy lifestyles. OutdoorX brings people together and connects them with local clubs, outfiers, and organizations.
OutdoorX is a celebration of Dayton, Ohio as “The Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Midwest”, serving as a gateway opportunity for the uninitiated and a “can’t miss” weekend for outdoor adventure enthusiasts of all levels.
Why Dayton?
For over a decade, partners in the greater Dayton, Ohio region have worked together to successfully rebrand the region as an outdoor recreation destination. Dayton is the outdoor adventure anchor along the Great Miami Riverway, a 99 mile stretch of vibrant riverfront communities that engage in recreational and cultural opportunities. Dayton’s reputation of “The Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Midwest” is supported with a plethora of outdoor recreation opportunities all nestled in the beautiful, wooded, rolling hills of southwest Ohio.
