Bike To Work Day logoEnjoy FREE pancakes, friends, music, and then bike to work!

Our FREE pancake breakfast on National Bike to Work Day takes place at Riverscape MetroPark's Bike Hub on May 18, 2012. Stop by from 6:30 am – 9:00 am for tasty pancakes, friends and music.

RSVPLast year, Over 500 bike commuters joined us to help celebrate Dayton’s bronze level bicycle friendlycommunity status. Their efforts contributed to a total of 4,934 miles traveled by bike on their way to and from work. At 25 miles per gallon fuel efficiency, that is 197 gallons of gas saved from consumption. In addition, our composting effortskept eight 50 gallon garbage bags of bio degradable serving items and food scraps out of the landfill.

Please continue to use your bike for recreation, transportation and physical fitness. You will feel better and will help make Dayton an even better place to live, work and play.

Team Challenge:
Please visit our team challenge page to see how you can get a team involved in 2012 and to view the final results from 2011. Congratulations to the City of Dayton for winning the Team Challenge for a fourth year in a row.  LJB, inc and the University of Dayton finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
