Spring Update
In spring, this small, quiet area overlooking the Great Miami River is an excellent place to view the river corridor coming back to life. It’s most prominent feature is the Observation Area overlooking the point where Wolf Creek flows into the Great Miami River; some say this is the best spot in Dayton to meditate and watch a sunrise. Bring your fishing poles and an Ohio fishing license and try your luck on the banks, surrounded by impressive views of downtown Dayton. Be on the lookout for migratory birds, raptors and heron, who also love fishing near this MetroPark. Start a hike along the riverbank or ride your bike on the Great Miami River Bikeway. |
