There are more than 70 miles of bikeways in Montgomery County. Additionally, Ohio’s Miami Valley region provides nearly 270 miles of paved, multi-use bikeways. Whether you ride two wheels for work, play, errands or all of the above, our network of “greenways” will get you where you need to go for business and pleasure. With this extensive trail system coupled with new bike lanes downtown and the new bike hub at RiverScape MetroPark, it’s no wonder Dayton recently garnered the League of American Bicyclists’ bronze award as a bicycle-friendly community!
RiverScape MetroPark Bike Hub
The new bike hub facility at RiverScape MetroPark houses secure bike lockers, bike rentals, parking, showers and restrooms. It supports cycling as a form of commuter transportation and compliments Five Rivers MetroParks' efforts to promote cycling through programming, planned and unplanned activity and bike advocacy. The hub directly supports regional efforts to increase access to cycling and provides options for general public use or short-term commuter membership. Read More >>
