Weekend Equipment Rentals
Try a new adventure right in your own backyard
Five Rivers MetroParks now provides recreation equipment for community use via weekend rentals. These equipment sets are a great way to:
- try something new before purchasing equipment
- access high quality equipment for a fraction of the cost
- eliminate obstacles for planning your next outdoor activity
Sets are available to reserve in advance and pick up for a weekend of adventure.
In addition to the equipment, each set will include resources such as tutorials, how-to videos, and internet links to information that will aid in using the equipment.
Camping Gear
This set includes the basic gear to sleep outside in comfort, including a 6 person tent, sleeping bags and sleeping pads for up to 6 people.
Weekend fee: $50
Camping (Tent Only)
Already have sleeping bags, but don’t have a tent. This option includes just a 6 person tent, perfect for your campout.
Weekend fee: $30
Backpacking Gear (Full Set)
This set includes all the essential gear to get you out on a weekend backpacking adventure, including backpack, 2-person tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, stove and cook set.
Weekend fee: $40
Backpacking Gear (Partial Set)
This set includes a backpack and 2-person tent. A great option if you already have some camping gear and are ready to try out camping in the backcountry.
Weekend fee: $25
Backpacking Gear (Tent Only)
This set includes just a lightweight 2-person tent for spending the weekend in the backcountry.
Weekend fee: $15
Bicycle Maintenance Tools
This set includes the basic tools to perform common bicycle maintenance and repairs such as shifting and braking adjustments, chain replacement, and some component replacement. The set includes a repair stand, floor pump, and bicycle specific tools.
