A quiet and peaceful neighborhood park, Wesleyan provides a great setting for afternoon picnics, weekend family cookouts or joyful time at the playground. This is also a perfect location for a short hike along the trail at any time of day! Cross the bridge to Adventure Central where learning and nature comes alive for many children. You can even sign up to volunteer and help students learn about nature. |

- About a Park
Situated on Wolf Creek, it’s hard to believe this scenic, natural area is located
within Dayton city limits. Beautiful woodlands, the river and wildlife bring urban
residents close to nature. In addition, Wesleyan is the site of Adventure Central,
an innovative partnership between MetroParks and Ohio State University Extension,
4-H Youth Development. Here urban youth learn more about the environment and themselves
through after-school programs, clubs and camps.
