Farm and Agriculture
This kit is for home school instructors, classroom teachers, and scout leaders to use with students who want to learn about farming and agriculture. Learn about the species, breeds and uses of farm animals as well as the different types of grains, crops, fruits, and vegetables. Forestry
Become a forest ecologist! Learn about the lifecycle of an Ohio forest, investigate the complex interdependence of organic and inorganic elements within a forest and determine what humans can do to protect forests. Insects
Students will learn about insects through games, hands-on activities and activity sheets. This kit includes insect nets, magnifying boxes and lenses, games, field guides and age appropriate insect activities. There is also a live meal worm colony that allows students to observe an insect’s life cycle first hand. A teacher information sheet is also included.

Mammals

Ohio Fossils
Fossils give us clues about the animals and plants that lived in the past. Learn to identify samples of fossils commonly found in southwestern Ohio and learn about the geological timeline. Directions are included to make your own replicas of fossils using molds and plaster. Activities are broken down by three class ranges.
