Fall and Holiday Arts Programs Are Abundant at Your MetroParks

Heads up! This article was last updated 1 year ago.

As the greenery of summer leaves and gives way to the colors of autumn and winter, we can tend to pull back from our engagement with nature. But to the contrary, autumn and winter provide a plethora of opportunities to explore nature — and, at Five Rivers MetroParks, your artistic side.

From photography to arts and crafts to painting, many aspects of this time of year create new ways to scratch that artistic itch so it doesn’t go into hibernation. Below, we’ve compiled a list of some of MetroParks’ art-related programs.

For the Family Photographer

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 to 11:30 a.m. (program L116)
  • Where: Cox Arboretum MetroPark: Fifth Third Conference Room, 6733 Springboro Pike

With upcoming family gatherings for the holiday season come family photos. Learn how to take great photos with the family. Be prepared to move, as participants will act as models.

Artisan Night at the Market
