Carriage Hill Visitor Center Renovation

We’re excited to share that renovation work is underway both inside and outside the Visitor Center at Carriage Hill MetroPark. While the park and trails will remain open, please note that the Visitor Center will undergo significant updates through summer 2025. Periodic closures of the building may occur due to construction activity, including heavy equipment use and noise.
During this time, the museum located inside the Visitor Center is closed until further notice. As part of the renovation, the museum space is being re-imagined. While some historical stories and artifacts may return, they may be presented in new ways that better reflect the evolving interpretation of the site’s history.
The interactive classroom and restrooms will remain accessible during open hours of the Visitor Center.
We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the visitor experience and share the rich heritage of the Carriage Hill Historical Farm in fresh and meaningful ways.
