Spring Update

The 2nd Street Market is open year-round, but is especially enjoyable in the spring when the weather is fair and there is a more interesting selection of produce and flowers to pick from. In mid-April, color arrives with bouquets and flower baskets available for Mother's Day or just to bring a little springtime home with you. In May, local farmers begin to set up their outside stands featuring early season produce, some of which are organic. Bedding plants, potted plants, and seedlings for planting, such as tomatoes, are also available in mid-spring. Step inside for the many unique items sold by over 40 vendors. If homemade breads, local produce, prepared food or flowers are on your list, let the Market be your one-stop shop!

Learn more about the market by watching a video interview with local talk show host Bette Rogge as she talks with Jimmy Harless, Manager of MetroPark's National City 2nd Street Market. This video was produced by DATV.
