91.3 WYSO presents

Friday, October 2
6:00 pm - 6:45 pm Jordan Hull: Jordan Hull's music can be described as a revival of the 70's singer-songwriter, citing Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, and Harry Nilsson as influences.
7:00 pm - 8:15 pm Manray: Young Dayton, Ohio, rock and roll trio Manray has as much in common with Buddy Holly or Captain Beefheart as it does with more current rock noiseniks like Ty Segall, Black Lips and Thee Oh Sees. Simply, it's not afraid to innovate, even while holding itself to time-tested rock standards.
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm Shrug: Pop-rock with a touch of alternative country, this Dayton based band will quicken your step and have you moving to the music with hit tunes like "Wake-up, Sugarplum" and "Laughter Tax".

Saturday, October 3
11:00 am - 11:45 am Wheatley Matthews: With musical influences from the old delta blues era to the early songwriting of the folk movement, Wheatley Matthews tells stories in the only way he knows how. Through strong guitar chords, big harp sounds and mountains of lyrics he attempts to paint an image in the listener's head with personal, metaphorical & truthful words.
Noon - 1:15 am Todd the Fox: Home of the hyper delta blues, Todd the Fox shows are filled with upbeat, energetic originals mixed with stylized covers and old standards. The shows are high-energy with audience members dancing, singing along, and generally having a great time!
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Eric Jerardi Band: A true blues rocker, with live shows that are legendary across markets of the United States and a commitment to touring that has picked up sponsorships with Budweiser, and SITS strings. Jerardi began his musical career with winning a battle of the bands contest in 1989 at Ohio University. Two years later, Jerardi won another contest at OU, which secured a spot on MTV as the Midwest's Best Unsigned College Band.
3:15 pm - 4:15 pm Magic Jackson: Magic Jackson's sound hearkens back to the decades-old traditions of the funk masters while staying true to the raw grit of the Dayton music scene of the past 30 years. MJ comes correct with a dirty batch of streetwise funk/rock. Tapping into the sloshy grooves, throbbing beats, and gang vocals characteristic of the funk that put Dayton on the music map, Magic Jackson achieves a melody oriented, rhythmically driven collection of polished funk tunes realized through a filter of distortion and blue collar attitude synonymous with the stripped down abandonment and riff rock sensibility of a garage band.
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm Happy Chichester: Happy Chichester is a singer-songwriter,-multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Columbus, OH. An original founding member of Royal Crescent Mob, Howlin' Maggie, and Twilight Singers, he has amassed an impressive discography on a wide range of independent and major labels, including the legendary Sire Records, Columbia/Sony Music, and Elektra.
5:45 pm - 7:00 pm Johnny Dreads & the Mystiks: The Mystiks was formed through a series of impromptu jam sessions, with founding members coming from locally based bands such as Soul Rebels, Jah soul, and Demoliton Crew.
