Five Rivers MetroParks welcomes groups, families, or individuals to explore your wild side with camping in many of the parks. Secluded backcountry campsites are offered on the Twin Valley Backpacking Trail.

Available Campsites
Groups, families, or individuals can reserve a campsite free campsite at least one week in advance by calling (937) 277-4374 between 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Permits are required. Most sites are primitive (pit toilet, fire ring, picnic table). Bring your own gear, food and water. Due to the threat of the emerald ash borer, do not bring firewood to any MetroPark facility. A limited supply of firewood is provided.

16 different camp areas are available throughout 7 MetroParks. Each campsite is unique and provides a different experience. Feel free to call the (937) 277-4374 for advice on the best sites for large groups, an intimate family getaway, or proximity to park amenities. Parks with camping include Carriage Hill, Englewood, Germantown, Possum Creek, Sugarcreek, Taylorsville and Twin Creek.

Meteor Shower Family Campout

Local families enjoyed this memorable overnight experience and got an introduction to camping.
