Jesse Remnant and the Trainwrecks

Jesse Remnant and the Trainwrecks – Athens, Ohio
2:45 pm – 4:15 pm

Jesse Remnant is an indie-pop-folk artist from Dayton, Ohio. Since the age of fifteen, he’s been escaping to the basement to write and record the hauntingly heartfelt songs you hear on his Squid’s Eye debut, “The Human Cannonball.”

As of late, he’s been cutting his teeth as bassist for the nationally renowned indie-folk-rock outfit, Southeast Engine (fronted by his older brother, Adam Remnant.) During his time away from the road, he’s managed to put to rest a full album worth of material that ranges from scratchy, 4-track recordings to lush, pop orchestration. For such art to grace the consciousness of a 21 year old (or anyone for that matter) is a true phenomenon.
