Eastwood MetroPark is a short drive from Downtown Dayton located 4 miles north, just off of State Rt. 4. From 4 north take the Harshman Road exit, turn right the park entrances will be on the right. Gear Fest by Bike

Sections of the Mad River and Great Miami River Bikeways will be temporarily closed from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 1. The Mad River Bikeway closure will be located between Eastwood MetroPark and downtown Dayton (at the Great Miami River Bikeway connection), and the Great Miami River Bikeway closure will be located between RiverScape MetroPark and Stewart Street. The bikeways will be closed for the Colavita Time Trials, a cycling competition held as part of GearFest: The Midwest Outdoor Experience, presented by Subaru. Gear Fest by Bus
Those looking for a environmentally friendly way to head to GearFest contact the Greater Datyon RTA.
Eastwood MetroPark is accessible by RTA Bus Route 11. Take route 11 west from downtown to the intersection of Springfield Street and Harshman Rd. The park entrance is northwest on Harshman approximately one mile at 1385 Harshman Rd. View map of bus system >>

The Mad River flows through Eastwood MetroPark allowing access to the event by kayak or canoe. Check out the Mad River Map and plan your float trip to finish at GearFest.
PARKING
Parking for Visitors and Campers – 1386 Harshman Road Entrance
Ample parking is available for guests right next to the heart of Gear Fest. Visitors can access the main parking lot by entering Eastwood MetroPark from 1386 Harshman Road. Follow the park road until your reach the parking area. Parking staff and signage will direct you the the right place.
