Matt Fithian-Stonyboater Brand Manager and Director of Kayak Instruction at the Adventure Sports Center International in Deep Creek Maryland will provide a demonstration of the latest in freestyle kayaking maneuvers including aerial loops, cartwheels and many other tricks. Jason Rigby will provide a description of what is going down in the pool as well as answer questions regarding paddlesports instructions and how to go from newbie to new school.

Matt Fithian has been kayaking since the age of 12.  He is a graduate of the Academy of Huge Experiences a high school for students seeking culturally diverse education while training to become a world class caliber kayaker.  Matt has traveled around the country and around the world in pursuit of whitewater.  He has been a competitor in both national and international events often placing within the top 10-20.  He is a regular contributor to LVM (lunch video Magazine) a quarterly DVD featuring paddlesports around the globe.  He is also a graduate of Garret College with degree in Adventure Sports Education and has instructed hundreds of students in his short career.
