Presentation: High Altitude Medicine; What You Need to Know About Getting High in the Wild

Dr. Percy will discuss preparing for, avoiding, and treating illness that results from high altitude adventures.  From Acute Mountain Sickness to brain swelling and death; learn what to think about ahead of time, what to look out for, and if all else fails, what to do if it happens to you.

Dr. Percy is a Major in the USAF Medical Corps.  She has professional experience in military and emergency medicine, and personal experience in high-altitude climbing and hiking.  She is currently training at Wright State University.
