A paddling trip through the Okefenokee is an experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.  Furthermore, backpacking on Cumberland Island, Georgia's largest and southernmost barrier, through pristine maritime forests with undeveloped beaches and wide marshes whisper the stories of both man and nature.  Join Dave Herpy and Dr. Matt Zuefle for a presentation about this popular spring break expedition.

Dave Herpy is the Outdoor Adventure and Camp Coordinator for the Department of Recreational Services and adjunct faculty in the Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management Program at Kent State University.

Dr. Matt Zuefle is a columnist and freelance writer and Ohio native who resides in Oxford, Mississippi.  He is a former naturalist with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and has served as a faculty member at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Ohio University, and the University of Mississippi in their park and recreation programs.
