This is an introductory course in paddling and water safety.  The course plan covers: knowing your paddle craft, before you get under way, operating your boat safely, knowing your responsibilities, and boating emergencies—what to do.

Dawn has been with the ODNR-Division of Watercraft for two years.  She holds a degree in Criminal Justice through the University of Akron (Akron, OH).  She is married with two children and lives in Columbus.  She enjoys anything outdoors and enjoys spending time fishing with her family.
