Indoor Duathlon
Wright State University Student Union - 3:00 PM, Friday February 10
Indoor Triathlon

The Adventure Summit Duathlon includes a 2 mile run/walk, followed by a 6 mile bike and concludes with a second 2 mile run/walk.  Participants will have 30 minutes to complete each leg of the race (1 hour, 30 minutes total).   Our duathlon is a great way to gauge your current fitness level, get an extra workout or just have fun!

The Duathlon starts at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and ends at 7:00 pm. Registration opens Friday, January 6, 2012. Register at Up and Running or by phone at (937) 432-9210. 

Participants may also register at the Wright State University Campus Rec desk.  Registration is $10 cash or check and will be donated to a local outdoor charity.

Bouldering Competition
Wright State University Student Union Climbing Wall - Saturday, February 11
Bouldering Challenge

The Wright State University Climbing Wall is the place to be on Saturday of The Adventure Summit weekend. Competitors can test their bouldering skills in a variety of categories: Men's and Women's in beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. 

Bouldering competition participants come from all over the region, including students from EKU, Notre Dame, Youngstown State, Miami (OH) and Kent State Universities. The comp has sold out each year. This is another example of how The Adventure Summit is rapidly becoming one of the largest outdoor events in the Midwest.

Kayak Challenge
Wright State University Student Union Pool - Saturday, February 11 @ 4:15 PM
Kayaking Challenge

Pool Slalom Obstacle Course (Free Event)
Competitors will battle through a series of gates hanging in an “obstacle course” fashion. They will maneuver through five to six gates trying to go through them in the correct directions and without touching poles suspended from the ceiling as fast as possible.

Canoe Battleship
Wright State University Student Union Pool - Friday, February 10 @ 5pm until 7pm

We sunk your Battleship! This friendly competition is sure to be fun and exciting as teams of four, try to sink other boats in an all-out battle in the pool.  Each team will paddle around using buckets and throw water into the other team’s boats in an attempt to sink them before they sink you! This event is limited to 16 teams! Buckets will be provided!

               When: Friday, February 10, 2012 @ 5pm until 7pm (Team check in at 4:30)

                Who: Space is limited to 8 Wright State University Student Teams and 8 Open Teams
                                *Teams of 4 required
