Indoor Triathlon

Indoor Triathlon

The Adventure Summit Triathlon includes a 250-yard swim, a 6-mile bike and a 2-mile run/walk. There is a half hour for each category. The triathlon will proceed in a run, bike and swim sequence of events. Sign up as an individual or as a team. Try something new, gauge your current fitness level, or just get an extra workout.

The triathlon starts at Noon on Friday and ends at 7:00 pm. Register at Up and Running or by phone at (937) 432-9210. Registration is $10 cash or check and will be donated to a local outdoor charity. Sign up to get out and run, bike and swim for charity!

Bouldering Challenge  
Wright State University Student Union Climbing Wall - 2012 dates TBA
Bouldering Challenge

The Wright State University Climbing Wall is the place to be on Saturday of The Adventure Summit weekend. Competitors can test their bouldering skills in a variety of categories: Men's and Women's in beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. 

Bouldering competition participants come from all over the region, including students from Marshall, Notre Dame, Youngstown State, Miami (OH) and Kent State Universities. The comp has sold out each year. This is another example of how The Adventure Summit is rapidly becoming one of the largest outdoor events in the Midwest.

Kayaking Challenge

Kayaking Challenge

Pool Slalom Obstacle Course (Free Event)
Competitors will battle through a series of gates hanging in an “obstacle course” fashion. They will maneuver through five to six gates trying to go through them in the correct directions and without touching poles suspended from the ceiling as fast as possible.

  • Single elimination head to head style tournament
  • Youth and adult categories
  • All equipment  is provided (youth and adult kayaks)
  • Be prepared to get wet!
  • Competitors meeting at 3:00PM; WSU pool deck March 6th
  • Space is limited; everyone must register by 2:00PM March 6th
  • If you register the day of  the event, you must do so on location
