CLIMBING WALL
Wright State University’s climbing gym is the latest in climbing wall technology: a Freeform Wall built by Entre Prises. The wall has been hand sculpted by experts to provide climbers with the natural features they want and require to stay interested over the long haul. The climbing wall is just over 23 feet tall and 40 feet wide. The bouldering wall is 14 feet tall and 20 feet wide.
The rock climbing wall is located in the heart of the exposition area during the Adventure Summit at 041 in the Student Union. The climbing wall has a front glass viewing area that is two stories high, inviting spectators on both the upper and lower level of the exposition.
The Climbing Gym has a caring capacity of 38. During the Adventure Summit, the climbing gym programs regularly reach capacity, so make sure to arrive early. Wall activities include a bouldering comp, rope work, caving and bouldering clinics. The schedule also includes open climbing and bouldering.
Minors need parent/legal guardian on site and complete a risk/release form.
