ART GALLERY: ARTventure 2010

Thanks for your interest in Artventure at the Adventure Summit.  The entry period for the 2010 exhibit is now closed.

ARTventure is a juried art exhibition that takes place during The Adventure Summit to showcase the artistic representation of outdoor activities, such as kayaking, hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, etc.  Open to all Dayton area artists working in 2D media. The event is sponsored by Five Rivers MetroParks and Wright State University, and is free to art lovers and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and interest levels.

Local artist and Rosewood Gallery Coordinator Amy Kollar Anderson will curate ARTventure. “I have been a MetroParks volunteer for about two years,” Anderson says. “When I am not painting, I love spending time mountain biking or hiking with my husband in the various MetroParks around Dayton. Curating the ARTventure exhibition gives me the opportunity to combine two of my passions while showcasing the talents of other local artists. I am certain that there will be something for everyone to enjoy, whether you are an avid gallery hopper or art novice.”
