Dr. Pickett will cover the basics in wilderness first aid, including triage decisions, simple things you can do to try and save a life, and how to prepare for the worst. 

Dr. Pickett is an emergency physician at the Miami Valley Hospital who trained at the Wright State University Emergency Medicine program.   He is also a Captain in the US Army Reserve Medical Corps, and an EMT –P/T.  He is active in medical education, as well as tactical medicine; medical support for police SWAT teams.
