Grassroots Advocacy

Bike Miami Valley is being re-launched!

Bike Miami Valley is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to promoting, enabling and creating safe bicycling for recreation and transportation in the Miami Valley region. We are located in Dayton, Ohio.

The original organization, Miami Valley Regional Bicycle Council, was founded in 1965 by Horace Huffman Jr., chairman and CEO of the Huffy Bicycle Corporation, and was instrumental in planning the bike paths that we now enjoy around the area.

The organization went dormant in 2002, and is presently being revived to address the needs of cyclists and communities throughout the region. BMV has a preence at this year's Cycling Summit, and hopes to grow into a powerful resource for all cyclists in the Miami Valley.
Please check them out at www.bikemiamivalley.org
