Weekend Pony Rides
Do you have a little wrangler that is too young for horse camp but can't wait to ride? Join the MetroParks Riding Center Staff on Saturdays and Sundays starting April 3rd through October 31st for a hand led pony ride for youngsters 7 and under. Staff members will lead youth around the MetroParks Riding Center Arena for a memorable riding experience. Bring your camera to capture this unforgettable moment. Reservations are not required. Youth Garden Club!
Create vegetable gardens in Skeeter's Garden! Games, cooking and art activities are part of the fun. Participants are expected to commit to attending the full season. Reservations required and limited; call (937) 277-6545 or register online. A random drawing will be used to fill club spaces. Drawing registration is open until March 15. Registrations received after this date will be added to the waiting list in the order they are received.

Weekend Horseback Riding
Five Rivers MetroParks weekend trail rides are a great opportunity to experience nature from horseback on our beautiful bridle trail. Your guide will take you on a one hour ride through Carriage Hill MetroPark. Rides run every two hours, thru Oct 31. All participants must be at least 48 inches tall to trail ride. So come on out and don't forget your ridin' boots! For information and reservations call the Riding Center at 937-274-3120.

Horse Camps for Youth
These 1/2 day camps run for 5 days June through August and are for youth with an interest in horsemanship through equestrian education of stable management, equine nutrition, and of course, riding. The benefits are to improve their lives by encouraging exercise, establishing partnerships with horses, building teamwork, art projects and other activities that connect them to nature. Morning camp is 8 to noon and afternoon camp is 1 to 5. For specific dates, availability and reservations call the Riding Center at (937) 274-3120.

RiverScape Gardeners
We are looking for volunteers to assist with gardening tasks at RiverScape MetroParks' spectacular gardens on Mondays and Fridays from 9-11 am. Garden Sojourn: Mind, Body & Spirit
Walk through the garden, take a tram tour, practice Tai Chi and indulge in light refreshments. Do as much or as little as you like in a program for folks 55 and older.
