Carriage Hill MetroPark

Eastwood MetroPark
Eastwood MetroPark, is highlighted by the 185 acre lake, Mad River, and shelter and playground. There is a 3mile loop trail which offers hiking opportunities on mostly level terrain. Try fishing in the big lake, blue lake, Mad River or the lagoon all here at Eastwood MetroPark, bring the boat out to the park, enjoy a family picnic, or come out and enjoy the wildlife.

Island MetroPark
Just a few miles north of RiverScape, where the Stillwater River flows into the Great Miami, is an urban oasis with a long Dayton history. Its roots as a park were planted in the 19th century. Now beautifully restored, people from all over the area gather for concerts, special events, picnics and family fun in the water play area.

Possum Creek MetroPark

Sugarcreek MetroPark
Three 550 year old oak trees, a tall grass prairie, woodlands and scenic Sugar Creek beckon visitors. Although much of Sugarcreek’s 618 acres were once farmland, MetroParks land management practices and natural processes have resulted in a variety of habitats. These support diverse wildlife that can be discovered as you hike, horseback ride or enjoy a leisurely picnic.
