Eastwood MetroPark
Eastwood MetroPark, is highlighted by the 185 acre lake, Mad River, and shelter and playground. There is a 3mile loop trail which offers hiking opportunities on mostly level terrain. Try fishing in the big lake, blue lake, Mad River or the lagoon all here at Eastwood MetroPark, bring the boat out to the park, enjoy a family picnic, or come out and enjoy the wildlife.

Englewood MetroPark
Englewood Metropark is one of five natural areas created by the construction of earthen flood control dams. Stillwater River, lakes, woods and wetlands serve as focal points of this 1,900-acre MetroPark.

Huffman Dam, the lake and the Mad River Highlight this MetroPark. The 3 mile trail offers the opportunity for hiking and wildlife/bird watching. And of course there is MetroParks Mountain Bike Area (MoMBA) so come out and ride MetroParks’ mountain bike trail.

Island MetroPark
Just a few miles north of RiverScape, where the Stillwater River flows into the Great Miami, is an urban oasis with a long Dayton history. Its roots as a park were planted in the 19th century. Now beautifully restored, people from all over the area gather for concerts, special events, picnics and family fun in the water play area.

Possum Creek MetroPark

Formerly Van Cleve Park, this popular park, found along the Great Miami River in the heart of Downtown Dayton, is a hub of activities for all ages — from concerts to community events, and even outdoor ice skating in winter. Beautiful floral plantings, hanging baskets and fountains make RiverScape the Miami Valley’s favorite community gathering place.

Taylorsville MetroPark
Historic remnants of the Miami-Erie Canal and once-thriving village of Tadmor mix with scenic forests to provide an interesting experience for both the hiker and bicyclist. In addition, fascinating rock formations with overhangs and small cavitations with calcite ribbons can be found.
