EVERY TIME YOU PUT YOUR KEYS IN THE IGNITION OF YOUR CAR, ASK:  IS THERE ANOTHER FORM OF TRANSPORTATION I COULD USE?

We encourage everyone to Bike to Work.  You can ride in on your own or with a group to RiverScape MetroPark for a FREE Pancake Breakfast and then head to the office.

Our efforts are larger than one day.  We hope our region will make biking to work a habit.  This day is about creating momentum and advocacy for a true lifestyle change in our region.  As Americans we love our cars. We think nothing of driving less than a mile to the bank, the store or even from one parking lot to another at a shopping center.

As our waistlines – and our dependence on foreign oil – increase, the quality of our life and air decrease. But it’s not as if we are trying to pollute our environment or be less active, it’s just become second nature to grab the keys and go.  But there’s a better way. Residents of the Greater Dayton Region have a great opportunity to make change and positively affect the environment in which we live, work and play.
