Spring Mountain Bike Fast Lap Series
Once again MVMBA, the Friends of John Bryan and Five Rivers Outdoors are proud to bring you the Spring 2008 Fast Laps series. So, what is Fast Laps? It is an off-road time trial series consisting of a lap through the trails at John Bryan State Park. The races are for fun and a great way to try racing in a totally non-threathening environment. And, of course, the races are all weather permitting. This is a point series which means that the better you do in your class, the more points you earn. And, at the last race, we have a huge party and announce the series winners with awards and prizes. Everyone wins something. But mostly its about having fun, improving your bike handling skills and meeting the other folks who also enjoy mountain biking. Bikes should be in good mechanical condition and helmets are required. Registration will be at the gazebo behind the Day Lodge at John Bryan State Park. Rain out dates will be held May 21 and 28.
