From urban skylines to beautiful river vistas, the Great Miami River Bikeway and Recreation Trail has something for everyone. The trail winds its way near parks, museums, picnic facilities, acres of natural land and over gently rolling terrain—a perfect match for the runner, roller blader or cyclist.
The southern section extends from Franklin traveling north through downtown Dayton, in close proximity to top-notch museums, numerous monuments and RiverScape MetroPark. Historic parks and markers make the southern section a lesson in Dayton's contribution to the region's history.
Three Miami County sections have been built in Tipp City, Troy and Piqua. The first section runs from Kyle Park through Tipp City to the Nature Preserve.
The next section begins at Concord Township Line and travels north through the City of Troy.
And the third section starts at the Covington-Piqua Trail and ends near Johnston Farm Historical Area.
