This northwestern segment of the Wolf Creek Bikeway follows an abandoned railroad route. Relatively flat for most of its length, the trail passes alongside Sycamore State Park to the southwest, or heading northwestward, the trail winds through rolling farm fields to the rural corner of Montgomery County ending in the Village of Verona.
Golden Gate Park has been used for more than 100 years for public outings. The park hosts a variety of organized sports activities, picnic areas and shelter houses to rent. Golden Gate Park also holds a modern community theater, with several productions scheduled each year.

There are more than 70 miles of bikeways in Montgomery County and nearly 330 miles of paved, multi-use bikeways in the Miami Valley. Our network of “greenways” can get you where you need to go for business and pleasure. This extensive trail system coupled with new bike lanes downtown, the new bike hub at RiverScape MetroPark, and Dayton's recently garnered bronze award as a bicycle-friendly community show why the Dayton region is a destination for cycling enthusiasts.
