MetroParks Partners with Dayton Daily News on Nature Blog
Educational interpreters at Five Rivers MetroParks have been sharing their wildlife spottings and tips on a blog hosted on the Dayton Daily News web site. Entitled "MetroParks Nature Notes," this blog is updated several times a week with both stories and pictures. We encourage all nature lovers to share their own spottings, comment on stories, and sign up to be alerted when new articles are posted. Visit the blog now >>

One of our new strategic missions at Five Rivers MetroParks is to connect the 21st century residents of the Miami Valley to nature. To do this, the staff at MetroParks is becoming more "plugged in" to evolving technology and the growing interest in online social networks. In addition to the blogs mentioned above, we have also started a Five Rivers MetroParks group on Flickr, a social network for sharing photography. If you are a member of Flickr and are interested in joining the group to share your photos of MetroParks, please send us an email through the Flickr group.

You don't need to be a member to enjoy the beautiful photos others have posted. View the photo group now >>
