Dr. Pickett will discuss common medical situations that may occur in the outdoors, and simple solutions that can be adapted from materials you may already have at hand.

Dr. Pickett is an emergency physician at the Miami Valley Hospital who trained at Wright State University Emergency Medicine program.   He is also a Captain in the US Army Reserve Medical Corps, and an EMT –P/T.  He is active in medical and EMS education, as well as tactical medicine; medical support for police SWAT teams.
