An IMBA designated EPIC trail does not show up in the woods overnight, so come hear how Brown County State Park’s extensive mountain bike trail system came to be and what it takes to create one.  Information about the development of Brown County State Park’s trails will be provided in this presentation so don’t miss it. 

Paul Arlinghaus started mountain biking in 1994 while living in Dayton.  After a decade of riding and racing, Paul became active with his local mountain bike club, the Hoosiers Mountain Bike Association (HMBA), at his local trail, Town Run Trail Park.  Paul was the project manager for the 2005 Brown County State Park RTP Grant ($150,000) and the 2008 State Trail Grant ($250,000).  Paul has been incredibly influential in the mountain biking community as HMBA has recently become part of the IMBA Chapter Club program.
